Processing and Shipping

  • All deliveries are subject to stock availability. Our items are cut-to-order so please allow time for this; we will do our best to get your item to you as soon as possible without compromising quality. When selecting your delivery service, please ensure you take into account the order processing times, we endeavour to ship items as quickly as possible and orders will usually be processed and dispatched within 1-3 working days but can take longer during peak times.

International Shipping

  • We ship across the world via different courier services. To check if your country is eligible please click here. (get a list of international countries and prices) If your country is not on the list please email, call, or message us via live chat and we will be able to provide this information for you. All EU and International orders will be sent via DPD however, we reserve the right to select an alternative courier service.

    All delivery timeframes are based on working days (Monday - Friday) and exclude UK Bank Holidays. Deliveries may also be delayed due to any local Bank Holidays. Please be aware that the delivery timeframes are estimated as we are unable to control any delays caused by custom reviews or poor weather conditions, therefore, we ask if you can please allow an additional 3 days before contacting our Customer Services team.

Free Click and collect from Bombay Stores

  • All Click and Collect orders will be ready in store within 1-3 working days. You will receive an email notification from the store advising that your order is ready for collection. We will then hold your order for up to 10 days – orders that are not collected within 10 days will automatically be given a full refund excluding cut fabric or haberdashery which will incur a 25% cutting charge.

    If you are unable to collect your parcel yourself, the person collecting will need the order number, your identification and be able to sign for the parcel.

Returns

  • We hope you are delighted with your fabric, but sometimes things can go wrong. Refunds for cut fabric or ribbon are discretionary unless faulty or damaged and not for any other reason as it will have been cut to your specific requirements.

    Please contact us via email in any case before returning anything and we can advise how best to proceed. Our email address is enquiries@bombaystores.co.uk and please always quote your order number and ideally a contact number to give you a call back on if required.

    Please note fabrics which are woven from natural fibres have characteristics and other irregularities in the yarns which are features and not therefore treated as weaving faults.

    Refunds will take up to 14 days to be processed from the date of us receiving the return. Please do not contact us enquiring about the refund before this time period.

  • PayPal: Shop easily online without having to enter your credit card details on the website
  • One-click checkout: This allows you to check-out faster as it securely saves your card details so that you do not have to re-enter them for future purchases
  • Your account will be charged once the order is completed. All orders will be charged in pounds, prices shown in Euros (€) are only approximate and can vary. Please contact your bank for current rates.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

We always try and ensure that all stock is available when you place your order, we have high demands for our goods and sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expect. To avoid disappointment, we advise you to order as soon as possible. At the time of dispatch, if an item(s) is out of stock we will try to contact the customer by phone or email, please make sure you provide correct contact details when placing your order. In case of wrong contact details provided or getting no response from our customer, Bombay Stores Fabrics reserve the right to cancel out of stock items and send the rest of the order.

We will refund the out-of-stock items from your order, please allow up to 7 working days from out-of-stock notification for this to show in your bank account.
